Over 2,000 hand-cut postcards from discarded frozen pizza boxes comprise this collection begun in 2011. In this invisible collaboration, access to my artistic materials depends on the habits and consumption patterns of the locals. I hunt and gather the remnants of the unsung, everyday event of buying frozen pizza: In Germany, the cardboard packaging is often thrown away at the point of purchase itself, immediately after it's scanned and paid for. Only the pizza itself in its plastic wrap makes its way home to the small iceboxes where it is stored. The cartons may alternatively be brought to public bins where I can easily dive for them, often to the chagrin of any companion of mine in tow. This product container becomes a small relic of the original deed: Each image is cut down to size and labeled with the brand, variety, date and place of collection, turning solitary gestures into an aggregated, community diary.

1,050 of these images were plastered onto the surface of the Kunsthochschule Kassel's Litfaßsäule for the school's 2016 Rundgang.
